An adventure you won't want to chicken out of
In collaboration with Long Island based emo band, Diamond Rot, we're crossing over into uncharted territory with this neurodivergent comedy about two grown adults who are on a mission to obtain an extremely precise amount of chicken nuggets. Yes, chicken nuggets. This film will be family friendly, queer friendly and lots and lots of fun.
The film stars Diamond Rot's Scarly Van Dragmire and Luna Sage, whom you might also know from the punk band, Girlfiendz. We designed their logo.
Production began in the early Spring of this year, filming began on June 16, and will wrap by July 29.
How did this film come to be?
Because Rich Drezen wrote a script, then approached people to be in the film or involved with it, and each of them - all first choices - said "yes". This doesn't happen too often for creatives. There will be much more to say later, as we're still early on in production.
In addition to Luna and Scarly, musician Lina Franzine makes an appearance, and rounding out the cast are the voices of Skye Gruber, Sami Armstrong and Danielle V. Gormley. The latter two you may remember from their voices in Narcoleptic Seahorse Pigeons as Flair Bair and Public Domain Character, respectively. Ms. Gormley is also the film's co-producer and co-director with Rich Drezen.
The film's director of photography is the multitalented Carrie Barry, and Rich Drezen is the executive producer.
